It was very difficult to mold your teeth properly, took me three tries, they had to send the putty three times. Then problematic discussion to get any customer service on what the status of my order was. When it was finally shipped, it was a good quality mouthpiece. But there is no number to call for help/customer service. You have to try to do it through email may have difficulty getting responses within a week or more.
Overall, I think it was a quality mouthpiece at a great pricr (about $500), but a bit screwy process. Significantly less expensive than dentist or another mail order option called Daybreak, but they provide much better support, but roughly $1600.

I been having silent guard about 4years my dentist made sure its fit my mouth. So I'm very happy as well as my husband he now can sleep(lol). I don't have sleep apnea its was only the snoring part as I age In number and gain a few pounds(lol) But I would recommend anyone who snores loud to please order this product it works!!!

It is pricey (but not as pricey as trying to get it done at the dentist when your insurance won’t cover it), and I find it a bit bulky BUT it works! And it’s not as bulky and painful as the boil-and-mould cheap ones you can buy at the store.
The fact that it works and that my husband isn’t awaken by my snoring (and that I’m assuming it is helping with my sleep apnea too), makes it worth the sore gums (but then again, I’m sure my cheeks will get used to it).

It makes a difference in my sleep. The sleep apnea was really affecting the amount of good sleep I was getting. With the appliance it has allowed me to get good sleep. I feel just fine sharp a hotel room with other family members knowing I am not going to wake them up with my snoring. The only downside is, it’s expensive. But totally worth it.

This product works! I first tried a $50 anti-snoring device, then a $100 anti-snoring device from other companies. Both worked at first but ultimately led to a lot of discomfort. IT CHANGED MY LIFE! I suffer from intermittent snoring and this stopped my snoring on the very first night! My dentist wanted $3500 for the exact same appliance so I figured I’d take a shot on this mail order option—I’m so glad I did. It’s high-quality, custom made with my own dental impressions. At $600 it’s not exactly cheap but it’s ~1/6th of the dental office price for the exact same product and 100% worth it. It’s important to know that the first week is uncomfortable as your mouth adjusts (first two nights were tough) but by night 4 I didn’t notice it anymore and now I sleep soundly with no snoring at all. It’s absolutely worth the cost, initial adjustment discomfort, and delivery time because it’s truly life changing. I couldn’t recommend it more!

the product works well once you get through all of the issues you may occur... I bought them in April and finally started using them in August, after 3 trays and then getting my dentist involved. i also had to have my dentist shave them down a bit on the last one. The top part of them also turned yellow within 2 weeks, but again, once they are in your mouth, they work great....

This is my second appliance. It came back a little loose on the bottom retainer. The pictures online also made it look like the brackets that the bands attach to were molded into the retainer. This is false advertising. I am still dealing with the little blue tabs that are hard to hold in place when I am changing the bands.

I have read some negative reviews that your customer service was not up to snuff. I personally have had an EXCELLENT customer service rapport with ClearGuard.
I ordered my guard with no hassle and it arrived when the company said it would. After the finished product was received by me, I tried using it but I just could not get used to it and so it wasn't for me.
However, that should not discourage anyone from ordering a guard. The company was decent enough to provide a partial refund, which was deposited in my account in a timely manner. Bottom Line: my experience with the company was top notch. Thank you!

Before trying clear guard, I tried several boil and bite devices that worked fine, they just didn’t last very long. After replacing several devices over the last year, I decided to give the clear guard a try. The fit is perfect and it’s comfortable. I’m glad I found a permanent solution with the clear guard!!

Reading mixed reviews, I knew this device would work for me. Let me tell you. THis is the same as from my dentist Dr. Abyll. Timeframe was about 2-3 weeks from when i sent my impressions to them. There were not many instructions included but with google and my previous experience with the device, it all worked out great. If you have osa or sleep apnea, I would definetly recommend this service with no hesitations.

I have had this mouth guard for about two months now and I’m just starting to get used to it. I had one of the longer bands on it to start with but still snored with it so I went to 23mm bands I think which is almost the shortest. I couldn’t keep it in my mouth for more than 2-4hrs as my jaw would really start to hurt but have persevered and can now wear it for a full night with no discomfort. It’s awesome! Initially I was disheartened that I was getting poor sleep due to wanting to keep it in my mouth but it hurting so my advice is to hang in there and wear it every night even if it’s only for a short time. Now, sometimes my teeth are a little sensitive when I wake up but that’s the extent of it so I’m really pleased. Totally stops any snoring which I’m sure is better for my own health and my husband is pleased. Prior to this, I had a boil and bite mouth guard but it was not a good fit and I would spit it out in my sleep. It’s not possible to do it with this mouth guard as it’s a tight fit. I wish I had purchased sooner!

My friend couldn’t stop talking about how this changed his sleeping life. He went from using a CPAP for years to using this little thing. Initially my dentist wanted $2,100 for a test and the guard. Then he wanted $1,690 that’s still extremely expensive. I did research and found this company for the same device. I ordered 2 for travel and in case reasons. They fit a little tight but rollers or and I see myself getting fused to it. So far good

On its face the device is perfect and the self impression process for its manufacture went smoothly.
I purchased this device as a backup of a "Silent Nite" device, which has been miraculous in a) improving my and my wife's sleep quality, in the process of (b) greatly reducing my snoring.
Although the device is of high quality, its fit is much tighter than my old device and I am using it sparingly hoping some use will improve its comfort for regular use.
Note to Clear Guard -- I mentioned my concern about its tightness to you some time ago and am still waiting on some advice as to some way to relax the fit. Soaking it hot water before use maybe?
