The dentists I contacted in my area said that a custom sleep apnea mouth guard would be a minimum of $2K. I knew I needed a custom solution because of the size and shape of my mouth but didn't want to fork out that much cash. Clearguard was a great solution. I've been using it for about 6 weeks, experimenting with different levels of the connectors. My sleep is SO much better with the Clearguard device. I'm sleeping more deeply, and the neck and shoulder stiffness I developed from trying to position my head to breathe with sleep apnea is abating. I wish I had found this solution years ago.

Long term review - had these for 2 years now and they are a life changer. This allowed me to share rooms while traveling, as I don’t snore at all with this on. I also had clear retainers previously but also needed something to open up my airway. This does both, and it’s surprisingly not bulky or uncomfortable in the mouth. It can wear down a bit over time, but the support team was incredibly helpful and responsive. Honestly, I couldn’t live without this product now.

I like the tray reinforcement, but it does not allow you to close your jaw all of the way. I was thinking it would be a thicker retainer, not just added material to back molar area.

The bands feel very flimsy like they may snap if I clench in my sleep and the molar portions in the back are very bulky where it hits my gag reflex easily. This is the only downfall of non dentist ordered trays.. I’m not able to have the dentist sand down the bulky portions in the back or any parts that rub my gums.
Ordering was great, very simple, and the rush order was received earlier than expected.
The mouth guard helps me sleep much much better than my CPAP for my OSA. Just wish the trays weren’t so bulky and the bands were more sturdy.

I'd give the product 5 stars, but there were some mixups. The mailer to send the impressions back was wrong and they sent the wrong device and challenged me several times that I wasn't pushing them on correctly. But then the correct device came and I love it. The snoring is gone.

We highly recommend having the folks there talk you thru taking your impressions AND watch the video. Then practice. It takes a little getting used to seating it right. But we are very happy with the snore guard. This is my husband’s second. The first lasted 10 years.
