It was awkward the first night. I spat it out in my sleep.. it takes some getting used to - it took me over a week
. You want to make sure you keep wearing it. The teeth tend to move and then if you’ve left your device out for too long, it won’t fit well..
When laying down wearing this device, I feel smooth flow of air going down my throat. Before this device laying on my back, I would feel my throat collapse together and already as I’m awake would hear a vibration sound and I used to wake myself up snoring lol. That doesn’t happen anymore..

This is exactly what I needed, after an appliance my dentist made many years ago wore out. It is high quality and fits perfectly. I did need an adjustment, which was a bit difficult to arrange as contacting customer service takes time. However, in the end, I am very happy.

The fitting was easy and the appliance works very well. Would give 5 stars but the $65 connector package is way to ex pop expensive. My dentist made me my original silent night and they always gave me the connector length replacement I needed for free. We do not need all the different lengths that come in this package.

There weren’t directions about which trays to use. Apparently there are 2 choices for the upper and 2 for the lower, but they were not labeled and it wasn’t clear in the directions. I was just going by fit and almost used an upper tray for my lower.

I’ve been a use of Silent Night mouth guards for six or seven years. Those you have to go to a dentist and get an impression made. They also cost $700 each.

I was very weary 1. Ordering online. 2. The price. I had a partial from my dentist that cost $1000 (with insurance) that had gotten chewed up by my dog. I decided I'd just go for an implant this time but that was $3k for 1 (with insurance). The missing visible side tooth made me very self conscious. I decided to take a chance on this website after seeing other reviews and I am very pleases! The impression kits came quickly and instructions were easy to follow. I texted the picture to the phone number and they informed me it looked good but may have to add on a 2nd back tooth (I didn't necessarily care to order cause ya can't see it) to have more support. Sent the impressions back and got an email asking me if I'd like to add the 2nd tooth. I agreed and received my partial within about a week of them getting my impressions. It is a perfect fit and looks great! The gum color is perfect. The tooth color is lighter then I thought and wish they'd have pictures of the actual tooths in the colors rather then a picture of the color. Being that it is a side tooth, you can't tell much that the color is off. I am very pleased with my experience and the results!

The new one fits fine but it is already starting to feel loose. I’m not sure what can be done to correct this but that is really the only thing that’s left me slightly dissatisfied.

Completed appliance (Elastic Mandibular Advancement Device) came in a timely manner and fit just right. Seems to work fine.

There are no instructions once you receive your device on how to adjust the bands up or down. I have had it 4 nights and I am still snoring.

Unfortunately, I messed up my first impressions (off-center) which led to an awkward fit and it cracked under the misaligned pressure with grinding. However, Clear Guard replaced it free-of-charge (only had to pay for a new impressions kit) and the new one has helped significantly with both grinding and snoring according to both my spouse and Oura ring measurements. It's also more effective and much more comfortable than the $3500 one my dentist insisted I get a couple of years ago. That one had a metal joint that gouged my cheeks and didn't even hold its setting well. I don't mind wearing this one at all. My only other minor issue is the kit didn't include the 18mm band which I suspect is my optimal setting (using the 17mm instead).

I bit thru my first MAD from Clear Guard but even though I was past the warranty period they gave a big discount on the replacement piece I needed. They were very responsive. My snoring and apnea are almost nonexistent while wearing the MAD and I’m getting MUCH better energy throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with an obstructed airway.

A few years ago, my persistent jaw pain finally pushed me to see a TMJ specialist. This was the first time I heard about appliances that could shift your jaw so that when you bite down, you can't grind your teeth. Unfortunately, I stopped treating during the pandemic, and then I broke my orthotics. I am SO glad I found Clear Guard. I really like this device and the cost of it. It does for me what they say it will do, which is reduce snoring, but most importantly, is to provide for a more patent airway. That alone leads to a better sleep pattern so that when you wake, you can tell you are well rested and energized, instead of feeling like you didn't even sleep. So there's that.

I am so thankful that I found The Clear Guard site . I spent the past 3 years trying mouthpieces trying to duplicate the one I had prior to my search. My previous mouthpiece looked exactly like your sleep apnea mouthpiece. I selected the Elastic Mandibular Advancement Device because I grind my teeth. The EMA has been perfect. The fit is amazing. Unlike the other mouthpieces, I can close my mouth over the product. It doesn’t feel like a sport mouthpiece! I was nervous about doing the mold myself but the instructions were clear. Sleep tech here. All devices are not the same. Too bulky and it can take up tongue space necessitating further advancement than is necessary. This one is nice and small.

Soooo my sleep apnea device worked good until my dog ripped it into pieces. I went with the EMA because I could see that I was grinding the other device and the EMA is said to be better for bruxing. Ultimately, both work the same, but the EMA is a little thinner in the mouth and the buttons that hold the bands will not get loose. Money well spent. I highly recommend you get two.
