Partial Denture Impression Techniques
When making a partial denture impression it is important to follow instructions provided by video and instructions provided below.
4 Putties for the impression where the partial will be made.
2 Putties for the impression where the partial is not going, the opposite teeth.
Make impression for the opposite teeth first.
IF YOUR PARTIAL DENTURE IS FOR THE UPPER TEETH, make the lower impression first. In this example, for the lower where the partial is not going, use 2 putties, 1 blue and 1 white. We need the lower impression to be shipped together with the upper impression where the partial is going to made to.
When making the upper impression where the partial is going, use 4 putties, 2 blue and 2 white. This is the same process as making the lower impression, but we are using a total of 4 putties to make the impression for where the partial denture will be made.

When finished, you should have no left over putty materials.
