Here are some tips for cleaning a sleep apnea mouth guard:

Before useFloss and brush your teeth, then rinse your mouth with water to remove any mouthwash.

After useRinse the mouth guard with cool water and brush it gently with a soft toothbrush. It is recommended using a peroxide-based oral appliance cleaner.

WeeklySoak the mouth guard in a denture tablet for about 30 minutes, then rinse, brush, and store it dry. You can also soak it in distilled white vinegar for 30 minutes, then in hydrogen peroxide for another 30 minutes.

StorageDon't store a wet mouth guard in a closed space to prevent bacteria and yeast growth. You can also clean the case with an old toothbrush to remove any bacteria.
