I have had this mouth guard for about two months now and I’m just starting to get used to it. I had one of the longer bands on it to start with but still snored with it so I went to 23mm bands I think which is almost the shortest. I couldn’t keep it in my mouth for more than 2-4hrs as my jaw would really start to hurt but have persevered and can now wear it for a full night with no discomfort. It’s awesome! Initially I was disheartened that I was getting poor sleep due to wanting to keep it in my mouth but it hurting so my advice is to hang in there and wear it every night even if it’s only for a short time. Now, sometimes my teeth are a little sensitive when I wake up but that’s the extent of it so I’m really pleased. Totally stops any snoring which I’m sure is better for my own health and my husband is pleased. Prior to this, I had a boil and bite mouth guard but it was not a good fit and I would spit it out in my sleep. It’s not possible to do it with this mouth guard as it’s a tight fit. I wish I had purchased sooner!

The process was seamless and I received a perfectly fitting device. That may be part of the problem. It fits so well that it suctions onto my teeth and halfway thru the night my teeth hurt so bad I have to remove it. It feels like it is trying to pull my teeth out.

My friend couldn’t stop talking about how this changed his sleeping life. He went from using a CPAP for years to using this little thing. Initially my dentist wanted $2,100 for a test and the guard. Then he wanted $1,690 that’s still extremely expensive. I did research and found this company for the same device. I ordered 2 for travel and in case reasons. They fit a little tight but rollers or and I see myself getting fused to it. So far good

On its face the device is perfect and the self impression process for its manufacture went smoothly.
I purchased this device as a backup of a "Silent Nite" device, which has been miraculous in a) improving my and my wife's sleep quality, in the process of (b) greatly reducing my snoring.
Although the device is of high quality, its fit is much tighter than my old device and I am using it sparingly hoping some use will improve its comfort for regular use.
Note to Clear Guard -- I mentioned my concern about its tightness to you some time ago and am still waiting on some advice as to some way to relax the fit. Soaking it hot water before use maybe?

Great alternative to PAP/mask for mild to moderate sleep apnea; Does take a few weeks getting used to.
Remember:
1. You may need to "titrate" your advancement by trying different bands (from long to short)
2. The bands/connectors need periodic inspection and replacement.
3. If you grind your teeth you may be causing some damage to the device ( plan to have a replacement)
The unfortunate reality is that the healthcare "marketplace" is a business with significant pricing/markups where the user-customer has little leverage. This service is a welcome break.

I bought this mouth guard after being diagnosed with mild sleep apnea when I was told it would be 4 to 5 months to get a cpap machine. It has worked out wonderfully. It has changed my life and I'm not being dramatic. I sleep more deeply and wake feeling more refreshed. My headaches, that were a daily thing, are gone. The price of this guard is a bargain. While my insurance company approved me for a dental appliance, NO dentist or orthodontist would make one on insurance. They all wanted cash up front and for me to deal with my insurance for reimbursement. The cost of getting a dentist or orthodontist to make a similar device is $1500 to $3000, this was the high and low from 33 offices I called. This device is a bargain. I'm 90 days in, on the same set of bands, so it durable, and I love it.

Very satisfied with the product. Took about 3 weeks to get it. I would suggest the rush service. I wore it for about 2 weeks before making this review. First few nights were tight on teeth but after that I got used to it and I’m very happy with it. I use the 23mm connector. 25mm didn’t do much and 21 was too much on my jaw and teeth. I have had sleep apnea for my whole life, I am 60 years old. I have been using a CPAP machine for 30 years. About 20 years ago I had a device made by a dentist, it worked well but I had trouble sleeping with it, my teeth hurt and it caused my mouth to salivate over night. I used it when i traveled. I lost it about 8 years ago. I started looking for another solution. My dentist told me it would cost $3000 to get a replacement. After trying several devices available online I decided to try Clear Guard. I went thought the process and the first one they sent did not fit great. I asked and they sent another that fit better. I have been wearing for three months and I love it. I have not used my machine since.

This is a very tight fitting (not too tight!) mouth-guard. It was so nice to not visit a specialist, who in my case, was less than pleasant. Plus, my original mouthguard was rather stiff and brittle. Ended up breaking in the end. I would say this is an excellent product!

Aside from the first class slow mail, a USPS Priority Small Box costs just $0.30 more than the $8 they charge, the customer service was quite good. I used the upper impression tray instead of the lower tray to take an impression of my lower teeth. OOPS. They were quick to get another tray and teeth goop impression stuff in the mail for small additional charge. It took a bit more than a week to get the finished product to me.
I refuse to use a cpap as it literally pumps you full of air and I cant sleep with the damn thing on my face. I started using Snore Rx at $60 a pop, which is a really large appliance, and they don't last very long. I bite hard and occasionally grind my teeth so the effectiveness would wear out within 10 days and then its like having a hockey puck in your mouth.
The Clear Guard sleep apnea thing is overall far smaller, adding about 3/32 of an inch to the width of your teeth. They stay in place overnight and allow a bit more mouth movement. I still have a bit of drooling going on, but hey, my lower jaw stays forward and it's vastly more comfortable than a store bought appliance. Considering I go through three of those a month, maybe this will pay for itself. I haven't sprung awake gasping for air in a week so I call this a win.

The price is better than good and fit has been good from the first day. The device feels like my night guard, soft inside and firm outside. I've used a cpap for years, and hated it. This is worth it. First, the customer service was good. I had a difficult time getting my impressions correct but with with them to resolve. The appliance fit is very snug. Almost too snug since it’s tough to remove from your teeth. Lastly, the unit probably shouldn’t be purchased for those with crowns and caps. I’m still concerned that my caps may loosen or come off when removing the device.

I work for a Dentist. This absolutely works . Is not really uncomfortable and very sturdy . Don't get cheap imitations.. this device really helps with snoring. But you really should do a sleep study 1st to rule out bad sleep apnea , medical conditions this does not treat .

I've used this device for about 2 years now. From the first week, I noticed a big improvement in my sleep. Not only was I sleeping better, but my partner was too. We ended up getting another one made for me. Unfortunately, since it was not ordered at the same time, I had to pay full price again. Here's the best part, Jenny offered me 5% off my second one! OMG! My sleep study app shows I'm snoring less. Night 1-3 was 82-85% and nights 4-7 88-89% less snoring. I can totally feel when I get a good night's sleep. It really amazes me how many years I've gone with poor sleep. $500 is a bargain and I'd recommend buying 2 not 1.

Using for the past 3 months. Game changer. Takes a few weeks to adjust but works so well. Takes a few minutes to realign your jaw in the morning but normalizes quickly. Tried other non-fitted guards and was left with pain and tmj. Not with this one. Went from 30+ snore labs average scores to 1-3 averages. Recommended to family who are having identity’s results. I read the reviews and decided to bite the bullet and buy one. I can say the shipping to me was fast, but to get the guard took about 2 weeks. I emailed the company and they said they can make it faster if I upgraded to the rush service. I did not upgrade and I waited the 2 weeks. I guess this is the time it takes to make one. I would recommend this product because it works for me. I am male 6'2 225 pounds.
